This tool was built around one problem: drivers can get trapped after a crash, a rollover, or a submersion, with no fast way to break a window or release a jammed belt.
TerraStrike uses a spring-loaded tungsten-tipped striker.
Press it into the corner of the side window and the spring fires the tungsten tip with concentrated, glass-shattering force.
The spring delivers the same force every time, whether your hand is calm or shaking, level or upside down. A hidden stainless blade gives the seatbelt one clean path through the cutter.
1. Press the striker into the corner of the window. The spring fires the tungsten tip, even if your hand is shaking. No strength needed.
2. Pull the cutter cover. Feed the belt into the recessed channel and do one easy swipe through the webbing.
TerraStrike is designed to be easy and fast to use, so it works even if you are in shock, shaking, with little strength.

The physics is simple. Force in one tiny point breaks tempered glass.
Force spread across a fist or an elbow doesn't.
That's why TerraStrike has three things working together:

No - the spring does the work, not your arm. One easy press breaks the glass, and one easy swipe cuts the belt. It takes no strength, whether you're calm or panicking.
TerraStrike's spring-loaded tungsten striker is designed to shatter tempered safety glass - the type used in most car side and rear windows. Some newer vehicles use laminated side windows, which are structurally different. The manufacturer rates the striker for tempered, film-mounted, and laminated glass. For best results, always strike the corner of the window, where glass is most vulnerable.
The stainless steel blade is recessed inside the body - completely hidden. Your fingers physically cannot reach the cutting edge. To use it, pull off the protective cover and slide the seatbelt webbing into the slot. One firm swipe cuts through the belt. The recessed blade keeps fingers off the edge, so you can carry it every day.
TerraStrike is rated for 20+ uses before the spring mechanism requires inspection. For an emergency tool you hope to never use once, that provides significant margin. The tungsten tip itself does not degrade - tungsten steel maintains its hardness over time.
Not recommended. TerraStrike contains a spring-loaded striker and a concealed blade, both of which may be flagged by TSA or equivalent security screening. Pack TerraStrike in checked luggage before you fly. It belongs in your car, not your carry-on.
Many families choose 3 to 5 - one for your car, one for your partner's, one for each licensed teenager, and one for parents who still drive alone. Some clip a TerraStrike to every keychain in the household.
TerraStrike is designed specifically for automotive tempered glass. Bus, train, and aircraft windows use different glass compositions and may not respond the same way. We recommend it for passenger-vehicle emergencies.
